At our 7th Annual Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution event we are commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Executive Order 9066 and will have several exciting speakers and performers:

-Alicia Garza - co-founder of #BlackLivesMatter
-Farhana Khera - Executive Director of Muslim Advocates
-Jeff Adachi - San Francisco Public Defender and documentary filmmaker
-David Ono - Anchor for ABC7 Los Angeles and our MC for the evening.

Performing:
-Young, Gifted and Black, an Oakland based spoken word youth group
-Ruby Ibarra, local hip/hop and spoken word artist
-Cal Raijin Taiko, traditional Japanese Drum group
-The Fred T. Korematsu Middle School, speech contest winner will be performing
